Meeting Detection vs Calendar Sync

For context, if you've changed the setting so that audio records automatically or "Ask me if I want to record" (we call this 'meeting detection'), this applies to the following meeting tools: Zoom, Google Meet, and Slack Huddle meetings. Huddles needs to be in its own window.

The calendar sync is related but still separate so even if a meeting is NOT on your calendar but Rewind detects a meeting is happening, it will prompt you to record. If you don't want this to happen, change it to "Don't Automatically Record".

Meeting detection popup has a "Record Meeting" button:

If your calendar is synced, you will always see a "Join & Record" button:

You can get a summary for any audio recorded as long as it's more than 5 minutes long. Doesn't matter if it was recorded by you manually turning on or if it was automatically turned on from our meeting detection / calendar sync. As a heads up, we do have a silence detection feature which will only happen if Audio Capture is manually turned on. If we don't hear any audible words in 30s, the audio will stop capturing, and start again once it does.

We've received feedback suggesting the ability to "Start Recording Meeting" at any given moment, and are considering this suggestion.

If your calendar is synced, the title of the calendar meeting will automatically get connected to the Rewind meeting/transcript. The only meetings/transcripts you can edit are ones without your calendar event name. You'll see light grey placeholder like Meeting, Arc, or Zoom Meeting.
