Connect your calendars to Rewind for enhanced meeting integration and improved support for recording meetings. This feature is only available in macOS Ventura (13).

Enhanced meeting integration

Meeting details are imported making it easier to browse meetings by title, Ask Rewind about specific meetings and the ability to automatically send meeting summaries to all participants.

Improved meeting recording

Syncing your calendar improves support for recording meetings. New controls make it easy to interact with meetings from the Rewind menu.

Setup Rewind calendar sync

Rewind connects to calendars directly through macOS. If your calendar is not already connected, you can add it easily. You have the option to select what calendars you would like Rewind to use to determine what meetings to get prompted to record.

  1. From the Rewind Settings choose the Meetings tab.

  2. From the Calendar sync section choose Manage

  3. You will need to enable Calendar permissions so that Rewind can access your calendars.

  4. Select the calendars you would like Rewind to use to determine what meetings to be prompted to join and record. If you don't see any calendars in the list, or are missing a calendar you would like to use with Rewind, you will need to add the calendar to macOS. Click the Add Calendar button to navigate to macOS Internet Accounts and add an account. Detailed steps are available below.

Note: If you are adding new calendars, it can take up to 30 seconds for them to appear in the calendar list.

Manage Rewind calendar sync

If you add new calendars to macOS after the initial calendar sync process and would like to sync them with Rewind, or stop existing calendars from syncing with Rewind, it's easy to do so.

  1. From the Rewind Settings choose the Meetings tab.

  2. From the Calendar sync section choose Manage.

  3. Enable or disable the calendars you would like to sync.

Add your calendars to macOS

If you don't have calendars connected to macOS, or want to connect a new calendar, you can follow the steps below.

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menuSystem Settings…

  2. Choose Internet Accounts in the sidebar.

  3. Choose the Add Account… button, and pick an account provider.

  4. Enter your account name, password, and other requested information.

  5. Once your account is added, ensure that Calendars are toggled On.

  6. To update calendar events faster, open Calendar.app and adjust the Refresh Calendars option in Settings… → Accounts to Every minute.

Note: It may take up to 30 seconds for recently added calendars to appear in the list of calendars in Rewind.
