Set yourself up for success!

  1. Quick Start help guide

  2. Screen Capture + Audio Capture

We recommend keeping Screen Capture toggled on 100% of the time, and Audio Capture toggled off. Before you record a meeting, you should always ask participants for their consent. You can also exclude certain apps from getting recorded.

  3. Sync your calendar

Syncing your calendar will prompt you to record audio at the start of the meeting and allow you to jump right into a virtual call (Zoom, Google Meet). If you use Google Meet, it's best to change your Meeting settings so that you manually end the audio of the meeting.

How to use Rewind for work

  1. Summarize your meeting

At the end of each meeting, summarize the transcript + email the summary to your team! You also have the option to copy the transcript as well by navigating to the "Transcript" tab.

  2. Playback your meeting

You can always navigate to the transcript window from the timeline (click on the audio icon) OR by clicking on the 'Meetings' filter from the search bar. Click on the play button to play the audio + recording.

  3. Ask Rewind anything you've seen, said, or heard

Use the shortcut ⇧Shift + ⌘Command + / or click on the Rewind icon in the menu bar > Ask Rewind and have a conversation about anything that's been recorded in Rewind. Try out these top prompts:

    • What was the article that [person] mentioned during the Zoom meeting?

    • Write a summary of the last week.

    • What app did I spend the most time in today?

  4. Star a moment to easily follow up

Use the shortcut ⇧Shift + ⌘Command + S or click on the Rewind icon in the menu bar > Star Moment for the tasks you want to follow up on or remember for later. Open up Rewind and clicked on the "Starred" filter to see all of your starred moments.
