Follow the steps below to view your transcript and listen to any captured audio. You can also copy an entire transcript, or move and resize the transcript window so it doesn't block your view. To summarize a transcript, read here.
To view transcript and play audio:
Open Rewind
Click on the audio icon, left of the Rewind date / time
Make sure the top of the transcript window is on "Transcript"
In the bottom right hand corner of the window, you can press the play button to listen to the captured audio
You can also play from a specific part by hovering over a line in the transcript and clicking the grey play button that appears to the right
To navigate the recording, scroll forward and backward on the timeline
To playback audio and/or reference a transcript while multitasking in another app, you can pin a transcript
To copy transcript:
Click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the transcript window
Click "Copy transcript"
To move, resize, and close the transcript window:
Click and hold anywhere on the transcript window to move it to the desired place.
Click on any corner of the transcript window and drag it to the desired size.
To close the transcript window but keep Rewind open, click esc on your keyboard once. You can also click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the transcript window > "Collapse window".
