  1. If you aren't already, please upgrade to MacOS 13.

  2. Update Rewind by clicking the Rewind logo in the menu bar (upper right hand corner of your Mac) > click on "Check for Updates".

  3. Restart Rewind. If needed, open Activity Monitor, double click on Rewind, and you'll see the option to "Quit".

  4. Restart your Mac.

  5. If you're still experiencing issues, please send over logs by clicking on the Rewind icon in the menu bar (upper right hand corner of your Mac) > Share Feedback > Choose "Bug" for Feedback Type. Make sure "Attach logs to help with debugging" is checkmarked. If you aren't able to send logs through the app, you can also send logs manually.

If you've installed Sonoma and are experiencing issues:

  1. After installing Sonoma, Rewind should launch automatically

  2. Check permissions by going through our onboarding flow again

    • Click on the Rewind icon in the menu bar (upper right hand corner of your Mac) > click on "Quick Start".

  3. Restart your Mac

  4. If you're still experiencing issues, please send over logs.
