When we ship a new feature or fix a bug we create a new version of Rewind that is available as a free update. We store these updates securely at
updates.rewind.ai. Every hour your locally installed version of Rewind will check whether an update is available by making a network request to
updates.rewind.ai and if an update is available, download it.
User feedback helps us make the product better. When you click "Share Feedback..." from the Rewind menubar in the upper-right corner we make a network request to
Receives requests (including user queries and snippets of relevant search results) and returns responses from Ask Rewind.
When "Allow Early Access Feature Rollouts" is enabled, we use LaunchDarkly to roll out new features or disable them if you experience issues.
How can I verify that these are the only network requests Rewind makes?
All of your recordings are stored locally on your machine. These are not uploaded to the cloud.
