Rewind works best when the macOS primary language is set to English. With other languages there can be issues recording certain applications, selecting/copying text, using keyboard shortcuts, and ignoring private browsing windows.

To change your primary system language, open System Settings (on macOS 13 Ventura) or System Preferences (on macOS 12 Monterey), then go to General and tap Language & Region. English should be the primary language at the top of the list under Preferred Languages.
